Throughout his career, he has demonstrated an exceptional ability to build and scale organizations, having grown a team from 5 agents to 94 within a single year while increasing annual sales from $20M to over $500M.

His experience includes serving as President of global private equity portfolio management companies overseeing up to 95 entities with $1B+ in annual acquisitions, as well as senior finance roles including CFO and Assistant Commissioner for the Southwest Athletic Conference and the PGA Tour. Allen has spent decades building trust and strategic partnerships with global asset management organizations totaling combined values of +$2B.

August Thornton is a retired U.S. Naval Officer and seasoned executive with over 30 years of senior leadership experience in mission-critical operations, intelligence, telecommunications, and academic research. His distinguished military career included service onboard four fleet admiral staffs and liaison assignments to several NATO commands, culminating in his authorship of the Naval Strike Warfare Doctrine for Tomahawk Land Attack Cruise Missiles.

Beyond his military service, August has built a multifaceted career spanning corporate telecommunications leadership, intelligence operations, and academia. His ability to lead complex, high-stakes operations and translate strategic vision into measurable outcomes makes him an invaluable asset to the HMA partnership.
